Fresh to Death Spring Recipes

For a winter-lover like myself, the beginning of spring can be a pretty huge bummer. The one thing I can get posi about are all the delicious foods you can get stuck into in the warmer weather, so I’ve wrapped up some of my faves in a neat little package so you don’t have to go hunting for ’em.

Fresh AF Rice Paper Rolls w/ Peanut Dipping Sauce

Spring rolls, summer rolls or rice paper rolls; whatever you want to call them, they’re the perf food to chow down on in the warmer months! You can stuff them full of anything you like but I have nailed an excellent flavour combo in this recipe.

Tomato + Parsley Salad

I made this dish to lighten up my Christmas meal last year and lemme tell you it was damned fine. If you want to make it a main meal as opposed to a tasty little side piece, add some protein like lentils, chickpeas or tofu to bulk it up a bit.

Sweet Potato + Brown Rice Burgers

As spring hits, you’re going to start filling up your calendar with outdoor events like picnics and barbecues and these burgers are going to be your go-to for a healthy and filling meal. Eat them cold or hot with bread or salad and you’ll be laughing.

6 Ingredient Healthy Mango Ice Cream Bars

You can’t do warm weather without ice cream and these babies are gonna be your game-changer. With only 6 ingredients, they’re healthy, gluten free and wildly tasty so you can basically eat the whole batch.

Grapefruit Gin + Tonic

When the sun comes out you know it’s party season. Knock the socks off your guests with my deliciously tangy Grapefruit Gin + Tonic! With hardly any prep at all, you could be sipping one of these bad boys in less than 5 minutes!

Now that you’ve got your spring and summer menu under control, it’s time to sort out your wardrobe! It can be hard sometimes to find high quality, cruelty-free fashion but luckily the legends at Lyst have a tonne of vegan-friendly brands on their site including Stella McCartney, Free People and my faves, Matt and Nat to get your spring/summer wardrobe fresh to death (without the death, of course).
