Like a Vegan is Six!

Awww my little blog is growing up! Six years ago this month I started Like a Vegan as a virtual cookbook to share recipes with my friends. Nowadays I still share my recipes but a whole bunch of other things too, with tens of thousands of pals from my real life and the WWW. Hey, it ain't the biggest following in the world by any means but it still means a hell of a lot to me that y'all give a damn about what I'm doing and I appreciate every last one of you. Terry is Down Under as part of Sydney Vegan Festival and I was lucky enough to keep her up late from her home in NYC before she left, to talk about vegan cooking, Australia and...

I've been a fan of Fry's Vegetarian for ages so meeting the man behind the magic was an honour. The invitation also mentioned Wally would be presenting on some new findings about vegetarianism in Australia, information I was interested in hearing. So yesterday I hitched a ride to Sydney to attend this lunch, super-psyched to try some vegan eats and pumped to meet Mr. Fry. I walked into the Hunky Dory Social Club on Oxford Street...
