The best thing about veganism these days is the diversity of people adopting a vegan lifestyle. One of those brands is Sans Beast, the newest addition to the luxury vegan accessories game. If you haven’t heard of Cathryn Wills, you’ve almost certainly heard of her work. She worked for major brands Benetton, JAG, Country Road and most recently Mimco, before branching out in 2015 to follow a path more in-line with her lifestyle.
Sans Beast accessories are made from eco-responsible man-made materials, proving that leather is not integral to the design of luxury bags. The brand is also committed to giving back, with all gross profits from the sale of their ADORABLE Charms ($59.00) going to Edgar’s Mission. And let me tell you, I am not-s0-secretly dying over how damned cute these things are! And did I mention they’re PETA certified? Well, they are!
I could see each and every product from Sans Beast fitting into my lifestyle, from the sporty-esque designs of the Liason Tote ($399.00 AUD) and Brief Liason Tote ($349.00 AUD) to the sleek Duplicitous Pouch ($99.00 AUD). The metallic and bold colour theme running through the first collection is unlike other luxury vegan bags on the market.
My fave bag from the whole collection is the Noir Jane of All Trades Hip Bag ($299.00 AUD) and Sans Beast were kind enough to send me one to take for a spin! I am obsessed with the smooth, finish on the outside and the contrasting luxury of the faux suede interior.
The details in this piece are beyond incredible; from the embossed features on the outside and inside, and the multiple pockets for storing all of your daily essentials. This bag has easily become my go-to bag for work and play, with the removable strap that can be worn over the shoulder or around the hips, plus the epic touch of the pearlescent acrylic luggage handle.
