Now I can hear you all saying “hey Chelsey, we haven’t even had Easter yet, why the hell are you talking about Mother’s Day?!” and the answer is simple: because you’re going to get wrapped up in the long weekend festivities and when you’re still in a chocolate hangover daze, you’ll realise that you haven’t yet got your mum a Mother’s Day gift, leaving her with a weird box of chocolates or dodgy flowers from the nearest servo. I, for one, am certainly down with the idea of that sweet sweet rose regenerating and anti-inflammatorying my skin, friends!
In the pack you’ll get 200g of the Get Salty Body Scrub & Bath Salt which uses a combo of Himalayan salt, epsom salt and sea salt, plus grapeseed oil and Bulgarian rose to exfoliate away any grossness that may be lurking on the surface of your skin. My first impressions of the scrub are that it’s a nice departure from a sugar or coffee scrub (and way less messy!) It leaves the skin feeling lightly exfoliated, moisturised but not at all slimey and has a sweet hint of rose to it.
Then you’ll get 100mL of the Tickled Pink Rose Oil, which has a sweet but not overpowering rose-y aroma to it and sinks into the skin to moisturise without feeling hella oily, thanks to grapeseed, jojoba, sweet orange, Bulgarian rose oils and vitamin E! My first impressions of this baby is that it is quite easily absorbed into the skin and complements the salt scrub poifectly. My hayfever-y self can be sensitive to floral scents but I haven’t yet spiralled into a sniffly episode so I reckon we’re in the clear with these.
