Lipsticks are obviously the classic choice when it comes to lip products, which is why there are so bloody many on the market these days! From sheer, to matte, to creamy formulas, there’s something for everyone at a range of price points in this roundup.
Colourpop Lux Lipstick in Name Drop (shade no longer available) | $8.00 USD | Buy Here
While this specific shade and formula is no longer available (mine’s a matte formula), I thought it was worth shouting out the Lux Lipstick range because it’s super affordable and comes in a couple of other formulations.
I’ve got my eye on the blur lux formulation next but there’s also a crème lux formula that looks amazing.
As always, look out for the vegan label before purchasing but Colourpop have a tonne of vegan friendly options and are 100% cruelty-free (obvs.)

Hourglass Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick in I Desire | $52.00 AUD ($32.00 for a refill) | Buy Here
One word: packaging. I mean, OMG, have you ever seen such a beautiful lipstick?!
Hourglass products can be on the pricier end but I love that this product has significantly cheaper refill options, so you just need one or two of the amazing gold numbers to swap out your colour before heading out.
The formula is super creamy, super impactful and super nourishing on the lips. 10 points from me. I actually feel like I might need a few more colours for my collection.Â

Hanami Lipstick in Amaranth* | $35.95 AUD | Buy Here
Hanami is a lovely Australian, 100% vegan and cruelty free, woman-owned business primarily known for their nail polish but have branched out to other exciting products, like these lipsticks (and yes I have the old packaging.)
You can feel this as you apply it but somehow feels super weightless after application, despite the premium colour payoff.
The shade Amaranth is such a soft, natural pink, I’m truly vibing!
